These self-lubricating components are manufactured from a single piece of high-strength bronze with embedded solid graphite plugs, providing a maintenance-free solution for complex mechanical assemblies like die sets and molds.
The center flange design acts as a robust locating element, allowing guide posts or shafts to pass through both sides while maintaining a fixed central position. This simplifies design, reduces component count, and ensures high-performance, wear-resistant operation without the need for grease or oil.
Center Flange Mounting Options
MPCZ Series (Round Center Flange)
The MPCZ model, with its full circular center flange, is the standard choice for applications requiring balanced, secure mounting. It is ideal for locating stripper plates and other components in die sets where sufficient space allows for a round flange.
MPCTZ Series (Cut-Side Center Flange)
The MPCTZ model features a trimmed, space-saving flange profile. This design is essential for compact assemblies where the bushing must be mounted close to other elements or near an edge, preventing interference from a full flange.
