Description
Self-Lubricating Thrust Flange Bushings (MPGZ, MPKZ, MPSZ Series)

Thrust Flange Bronze Bushings
Handle combined radial and axial loads with a single, compact solution. The MPGZ series of self-lubricating shoulder bushings are engineered to provide exceptional, maintenance-free performance. By integrating a thrust flange into the main bushing body and embedding solid graphite lubricant, these components eliminate the need for separate bearings and thrust washers, simplifying design and assembly.
Mounting Options for Every Application
MPGZ (Standard Thrust Type)
The MPGZ is the standard model, designed for press-fit installation. Its flange provides a robust bearing surface for handling axial (thrust) loads while the body guides the shaft. This is the most compact, integrated solution.
MPKZ (Socket Head Screw Mount)
The MPKZ variant is designed for bolt-on mounting using standard socket head cap screws. The counterbored holes provide a secure, positive lock, ideal for high-vibration environments or when easy replacement is required.
MPSZ (Flat Head Screw Mount)
The MPSZ offers the same secure bolt-on mounting as the MPKZ but features countersunk holes for use with flat head screws. This allows for a completely flush mounting surface, essential for applications with tight clearances.
Key Benefits of the MPGZ Series
- Dual-Load Capability: Efficiently manages both radial loads on the barrel and axial loads against the flange face.
- 100% Self-Lubricating: Solid graphite plugs provide continuous, oilless lubrication for the entire service life.
- Space-Saving Design: The integrated flange eliminates the need for external thrust washers, saving valuable axial space.
- High Performance: Made from high-strength bronze alloy, capable of handling high loads, high temperatures, and offering excellent wear resistance.
- Precise Positioning: The flange acts as a positive stop, ensuring accurate and repeatable positioning during assembly.
